Went over to another couples house that we game with often tonight. We started the night playing Scattergories. We played two rounds with Brian winning the second round. This is a pretty fun party game and has been added to our wish list. We brought along Pandemic and taught them how to play. We were absolutely destroyed the first game with only 1 virus cured. The second the first game ended, one of the hosts immediately said, "We are playing that again!" It was great and even more intense with 4 people (vs two). We had to constantly talk about stategery. The second round was very close as we had 3 viruses cured but ran out of card just before being able to cure the 4 virus! DOH! We ended the night with King in the Corner. This is a very simple card game and is actually pretty fun.
Brian has started a new job and is adjusting to the early hours. We hope to get back on track very soon with regular weekly video updates. Thanks for sticking with us. Keep gaming!

Board Game Sale
Hey guys, just a quick note. Barnes & Noble is having a 50% off sale on a lot of board games! We just picked up Puerto Rico for 20 bucks and Qwirkle Cubes for 12.50. They had a ton of other board games & puzzles at 50% off. I am not sure if this is a national sale or just a local one here in Boise.

coming soon
A new review will be coming later in the week. We picked up the Agricola - Farmers of the Moor expansion and Pandemic in the last week. Very exciting. We haven't abandoned this yet. ;)

Gaming for 2 - Lost Cities
Lost Cities is a quick and easy game for two. The game takes about 20 mins per round and you can play as many rounds as you like. There is a lot of stategery and some luck involved. (If you would like HD please click through the video to youtube or press the full screen button on the bottom right)
Gaming Session 6/5/10
Had some new gaming friends over last night. We taught them how to play Ticket to Ride and it went over well. We also tried a 4 player game of Wits & Wagers but it just wasn't as fun with only 4 people. I enjoy the game but I feel it thrives with at least 6-7 people. They brought some cards over and taught us how to play Canasta. We both enjoyed Canasta and I know we will play more of that. The stategery looks like it could be pretty deep even though the game play is so simple.
We should have a new video up shortly.

Gaming Session - Wits & Wagers

We played Wits & Wagers tonight with some family and friends. Definitely not a suitable game for two but a great party game for a handful (or more) of people. This game went over well with the gaming side of the group and the non gaming side of the group. Check the game out at your local game store. The Dice Tower has a nice review of the game including game play. Check it out!
